Hey all!
My kids both play soccer and they come home with cuts and bruises all the time. I got a lot of references for what I should use on them and so far I’ve been using this stuff called bruiseMD that I found online (you can find it through google) and its been working great whenever I get a bruise on my ankle from running. Just out of curiosity I was wondering if anyone else has heard of any other bruise medications?

  • For mild cuts and scrapes I recommend pure essential oil of lavender applied directly on the cut - this works VERY quickly. It is the only essential oil you can use directly on the skin. Buy a good quality pure essential oil. Arnica creme or gel, or Traumeel is excellent for bruising. Also helps muscle ache and pains. Easy bruising is a sign of vit. C deficiency. I recommend Emergen C as it tastes great, and you put it in your water bottle to promote hydration. My kids always have EmergenC in their water bottles when playing sports. You can find all these products online at www.vitacost.com or at a healthfood store. EmergenC you can even get at Wallmart or most grocery stores. Best wishesDOM
