brow ptosis

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi everyone,
how are you?

thank you very much for taking the time to consider my question.

I have had asymmetric brow ptosis that affects my right brow more than my left. I've had it for a few years now eventhough I am only 19. I don't know what caused it and it seems to be getting slight to moderately worse.

Here is a little background:
I am asian and have naturally low brows and used to use tape to create eyelid creases. After two years I noticed my eyelid skin was stretching and so I stopped using tape. and gradually my eyelid skin shrunk back (although I can't say it fully did or not). Then one day I noticed that my right brow kinda drooped a little and it then went back up. This was the first time I noticed it.

Now it droops more often, and what seems to be more severly. esp when I turn to left, my right brow tends to droop down. I have stopped using tape in the two years after i first noticed brow droop, but sometimes I rub my finger across eyelid to form crease and also there was a period when I wore heavy glasses.

I have heard stories from other asian girls using eyelid tape to form crease and how it stretched their eyelid skin, but have not heard one about their brows drooping.

I was wondering if I might have some disease, or if this drooping is maybe due to me stretching my eyelid skin, and with that extra weight, it might have pulled my already low brows even lower?? and could it be worsened by stress? There is more drooping on lateral end.

Thank you so much for considering my questions. I really appreciate your advice and help
I look forward to hearing from you,
take care,
