For the past few months I have been having back pain in the middle of my back on both sides. It seems to be mostly at night. There is a little bit of pain in the morning when I wake up and then it goes away and comes back around just before I go to bed. I am taking the blood pressure medication Azor. I believe I read that one of the side effects can be back pain. It's not horrible pain, just annoying. I am planning on seeing my doctor for it. Just wondered if anyone is familiar with these symptoms.

  • Have you been checked for disc herniation? Is the pain in the lower back, Mid back or towards the neck region? In herniations, the disc loses a portion of it's fluid during evening sleep and once you become active the fluid increases or fills the disc. The result is waking up with pain, then the pain decreases or goes away altogether once you stand and move around.Good luck,Doug
