my mother whom is 46 recently has started having these strange symptoms. She woke up one morning a few days ago to a rash on her arms, legs and face. She also had ankle swelling, foot swelling, and wrist and hand swelling. The rash went away within a day, but the other symptoms remain. she went to an urgent care and they were puzzled that everything happened so sudden. Her joints, ie. knees, hands, wrists, feet, ankles, neck and shoulder, are so sore. She went from fine to severly sore in a few days! She went to see her own doctor who is running a battery of tests. so far she has tested positive for mono, but they believe none of her current symptoms are related to that. She is negative for rheumatoid arthrits. She also tested positive for an acute inflammation. Has anyone ever heard of getting something like this so suddenly? She still goes to work but in constant pain with her joints. The swelling also has not subsided. Any help would be appreciatedReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
