My wife is 38. She was Dx. with MS in November 2010. It has been a VERY hard year with adjustment in life on every front. In August 2012she started having what I thought was syncope after standing, but when she "woke up" she was confused to time. She thought she was in 2008. It lasted for 20-30 minutes. All the sudden she was oriented again. She complained of headache pain to her right temple. After a few of these over that week I called rescue after she fell in the bathroom. A week in the hospital and EEG, blood work, MRI tests found nothing. A seventy two hour EEG has been scheduled. A possible pseudo seize Dx. was mentioned. She since still has these episodes, she was put on topamax, she takes copaxione, gabapention, abillify, Xanax, and ambien. These episodes has really taken more of her life than MS.
ever could. Please help with any suggestions. Thank you very much
