:confused:I have been having several symptoms for about a year and they are getting worse. My doctor has reffered me to a nuro because the symptoms are pointing toward many things one of them being MS. The symptoms are numbness and tingiling on the right side of my face I guess you can call them tremors in my legs where the leg jumps for no reason what so ever and will twitch for hours. I will get sore spots on my body that hurt to the touch even clothes hitting that spot hurts. Constant headaches that sometimes get severe pains in my muscles all over my body, extremely tired to the point I can hardly stay awake and have fallen asleep standing up, severe vertigo that lasts for days at a time, and vision problems like black outs tunnell vision and foggy vision. I have also had trouble with memory and speech at times and just cant seem to think clearly. I am pretty worried about what they will tell me I am only 28 and a single mother and cant afford for anything to be wrong. Thank you all for letting me post.

  • You have a right to be scared!Multiple sclerosis is important to rule out.Regarding your vision, has an ophthalmologist told you that you have optic neuritis? If so,that really increases the probability of M.S.Good luck!:)

  • I was diagnosed with MS, had some symptoms similar to yours, but after tests found I was mercury toxic due to several mercury amalgam fillings. I got the fillings replaced, did detox and recovered; I'm aware of thousands of others who have similarly. www.flcv.com/ms.html & following med. study: The beneficial effect of amalgam replacement on health in patients with autoimmunity. Prochazkova J, Sterzl I, Kucerova H, Bartova J, Stejskal VD; Neuro Endocrinol Lett. 2004 Jun;25(3):211-8; & Šterzl I, Procházková J, Hrdá P, Matucha P, Bártová J, Stejskal VDM: Removal of dental amalgam decreases anti-TPO and anti-Tg autoantibodies in patients with autoimmune thyroiditis. Neuro Endocrinol Lett, 2006, 27(Suppl.1): 25-30http://www.melisa.org/pdf/Mercury-and-autoimmunity.pdf Results of lymphocyte reactivity measured with MELISA indicate that in vitro reactivity after the replacement of dental amalgam decreased significantly to inorganic mercury, silver, organic mercury and lead. All 6 patients with MS showed significant improvement in health. Out of 15 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) 11 (73%) had improvement of health. Out of 8 patients with autoimmune thyroiditis 6 showed significant improvement in health (75%). Do you have several amalgam fillings or metal crowns? If so get tested for mercury toxicity (virtually all with several amalgam fillings have high levels of mercury exposure- www.flcv.com/damspr1.htmlfor info on how to get tested you could contact DAMS (patient support group) at www.dams.ccIf you don't have several mercury amalgam fillings, consider checking for Lyme Disease. My wife has this and has a few of your symptoms. Also such conditions usually involve inflammation, and turmeric/curcumin, Theaflavin extract of black tea, and green tea extract are all very good anti-inflammatories which help many with inflammatory conditions.
