Hi, I'm a 34 year old mother of 4 boys. My pain started a year ago in my leg didn't think anything but maybe I was over doing it. The pain got so bad that there were day where I couldn't walk, but as a mom I sucked it up and did what I had to. In January I started a new job where I stand for 6 to 8 hours, thought I was going to die. a month ago I started having eye twitching with sharp killer pain behind my eyes, then my right eye decided to stop focusing, went to the eye dr. he said sounds like a migrain, ok got new glasses. three days later at work I was going blind for five to ten seconds at a time this lasted for two days went back to the eye dr. said my eyes was working right but something was wrong and I need a MRI. I called my family doctor and they got me in a week later but by that time, my right hand consent shaking with my left leg not wanting to work, walking was almost impossiable, falling alot, the pain was so bad I cryed and thinking was not happening. I also have muscel weakness like you wouldn't believe and I have pins and needles in my feet and hands with burning up my back and in parts of my legs, my hands and legs go numb. I have face movements, twitching.
Got in to the doctor and in the dr. was looking me over and discovered I had no reflexes at all. He was very concered about this sent to get an MRI right away. He said that this was MS but needed the MRI to confirm it.
I went last week for the MRI and I am still waiting for the word from the doctor. My question is does this sound like MS or not? Any who has suffered from MS have the same problems, If so what type of treatment is there?
