Help I am new and i am in severe pain every day, with headaches, back ache that goes up and down my spine, numbness and tingling threw my whole body and my eye sight is going bad. I went to my family dr. who did a MRI and said i had lesions on my brain that it was possibly MS,she made a drs appt. with a neurologist and i had a spinal tab,and nerve test and eye vision test done. Which he said I have optic neuritis and neuropathy in my legs and arms. But because my spinal tab was negative for ms ,he didnt think i have it.So i went to another neurologist that told me the same thing.I was wondering if anybody else experiences this symptoms and what there dr. has told them. I am not on any medication for these problems but theres days i cannot do anything for the weakness and pain in my head and down my spine. I just turned 51 and i feel like a 90 year old,and i was always so active and busy all the time now i can hardly do half what i used to do.Please help me with some answers.THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

  • Just wanted you to know that i have MS and my doctor told me that more than 99% of people with optical neritus have MS. I had it first and lost my eye sight but the eye doctor said he was 90% sure that it was not MS. after my spinal tap it was postive. But with all your symptons it sound like you have it to me. That is how i feel everyday and i am olny 25. so good luck to you.

  • Mercury from dental amalgam is one of the most common causes of autoimmune conditions like MS and Lupus, as documented in lots of medical studies- such as The beneficial effect of amalgam replacement on health in patients with autoimmunity. Prochazkova J, Sterzl I, Kucerova H, Bartova J, Stejskal VD; Neuro Endocrinol Lett. 2004 Jun;25(3):211-8.http://www.melisa.org/pdf/Mercury-and-autoimmunity.pdfResults of lymphocyte reactivity measured with MELISA indicate that in vitro reactivity after the replacement of dental amalgam decreased significantly to inorganic mercury, silver, organic mercury and lead. All 6 patients with MS showed significant improvement in health. Out of 15 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) 11 (73%) had improvement of health. Most who get amalgams replaced and do detox recover or improve:www.flcv.com/hgrecovp.htmlBW

  • Myself and thousands others diagnosed with MS (many who I know) found they were mercury toxic (most common cause) and after amalgam replacement and detox recovered or signif. improved. Mercury is documented in the med. lit. to be one of the most common causes of MS and such conditions. www.flcv.com/ms.html (note: I had eye problems and Opthamologist said I was going blind, but after mercury detox my eyes improved significantly- no problems now) Do you have several amalgam fillings or metal crowns? If so, get tested for mercury toxicity. There are many safe ways to detox, but you have to get rid of the high mercury exposure if that is the problem. For info on tests for mercury toxicity you could contact DAMS (patient support grp) at www.dams.ccor for other info join the MSCURED Yahoo Group at www.yahoo.com If you don't have several amalgam fillings, you might look into lyme disease, which my wife has and has some of your sypmtoms.
