Does anyone know if there are agenices that assist individuals (who have physicial difficulties such as MS) with house cleaning, etc.? I am too weak to clean my home and I want to know if there are free services that agencies provide to those that need the help.
Thank you.

  • Try contacting the local county for info about free caregivers....maybe there is a non-profit in your area. There are medical and non-medical caregivers...so sounds like you want to get a non-medical for that type of help. Hope this helps.

  • I'm not sure what resources are available where you live, but check out places like Dept. of Human Services or Disability Services. Our state, has a great program called Advantage, it is funded through Medicaid and is free for the disabled. It provides housekeeping, running errands, personal care such as bathing or dressing, shopping errands. I hope you find something.
