Does Neuropathy ever go away?

I am new to here and I enjoy reading what others have to say and what they experience. It helps me in alot of ways, (Best medicine so far) I have neuropathy in many different parts of my body. Anywhere from my scalp to the bottom of my foot. Sometimes my scalp burns so bad that even a breeze of wind hurts my head. I can't let anyone touch the bottom of my foot, not even the doctor. The last time he tested the sole of my foot I would have sworn he took a razor blade and cut my foot wide open. That happened in July and I can still feel it today. I currently am taking lyrica but it really doesn't help. Does neuropathy ever go away? I do have MS and many other symptoms but this one is maybe the worst. Grateful, Katarena

  • I am new here too, I hope it goes away. My left foot (half of it, outer half and heel) has been numb for about 8 months now and just last week on a very hot day my 2 little toes and somewhat around has gone a bit numb too. My fingers tingle and middle finger of right hand is partially numb. Half deaf in left ear and have just had another right eye attack last week after the hot day. Going to an opthomologist tmrw. Also very high pitch ringing in ears most of the time, at times it seems to go away. Urinary problems since age 17, er sx then, also have had seizures in past. Carpul tunnel...much more but these new symptoms are not going away, have difficulty walking and standing in one place to long.
