The roof of mouth in the soft palate area is yellow. It is not thrush or anything like that the skin is just yellow. Anyone know what this could be?

  • Usually the thing that could cause a yellow pallet is as suggested before food, but another cause is nicotine! If you smoke, when you inhale, the nicotine will (over time) cause the roof of your mouth to turn yellow, side affects of this are bad breath and increased bacteria (gingivitis) - If you do not smoke I'd consult your G.P for further tests, but I wouldn't worry, if its the smoking that's doing it, your might want to chew gum after a cigarette - or simply quit! :0)
