Hi I have a white bump on my tongue that just showed up. It is painless and not on top of a red bump or anything like that. It is located on the side of my tongue. I am a bit concernered but before I see a doctor was curious for some insight.
I have attached a picture. Some more info about the bump. I was in a serious motorcycle accident 9 years ago where all of my top teeth were shattered and my tongue was cut in half. I had to have it sewn back on and because of that the bump is right where my scar is causing it to protrude a bit into my teeth and often I will wake up noticing that the area is a bit sore which I think means I have been munching on it in my sleep.
Any insight would be helpful.
