Tongue problems

Since I noticed a small white bump on the connecting line thing under my tongue, I haven't been able to move or extend my tongue without it hurting and feeling like I am stretching something. The bump has gone away, but the line in the center of under my tongue seems like it's being stretched, or that it is somehow shorter. Even licking my lips is difficult. I have no other problems and I can't figure out what is wrong. Please help me!! It also looks like pieces of the bottom of my tongue are falling off... little red stringy bits are hanging off of it. They are short and are normal parts of the tongue, except they are falling off?
