The roof of my mouth (hard palate) flares into a painful spasm whenever i eat solid food. Looking in the mirror I see the roof of my mouth is whitish in color (though not THRUSH whitish)!! Touching the white spot with my toungue feels like its slightely swollen.

This has been happening for two days now. When I dont eat, the pain subsides to a very dull throb..barely noticeable.

I haven't been able to figure out what this is - Anyone with any info on this - please help!!
