Swollen spots on tongue, sore throat

I have had a sore throat and slightly irritated throat for about a year now (my doc kept telling me to take allergy medication), and sometimes I feel very sick for a few days and it hurts badly. The spot where I bit my tongue has become an irritated sore, and I think the other spot on a place where I can't bite may be Rhomboid Glossitis or something. It's a swollen oval with no cillia on it. Also, my tongue is pretty white, no matter how much I scrub it, it is still very white.

I am going to see a doctor in a week hopefully, but this is kind of concerning. Is it fungal? Cancer? Allergies to a fungus? There is an unfiltered turtle tank in my room and some black mold in my side of the house. Luckily I will be staying at my moms for a long time.

What do you think of this? Have any knowledge to share?

  • Also, I looked in the mirror, I doubt that it's cancer. There is a swirly white color all over my throat. I mostly feel the irritation deep in my throat.
