swollen cheeks, can see veins inside, bumps

my cheeks have been swollen for days. i looked in my mouth and i can see veins on both side that are very distinct, swollen also. never there before. also on the right side there are too bumps look bloody almost. what could this be? thanks!

  • I have the same symptoms. The tip of my tongue and sides is also constantly sore, which actually started about a month ago. Then recently my inside cheeks feel like they are raw and when I looked at them I too could see veins. You are the only other person that I have seen that symptom besides myself. have you discovered anything since posting this? sincerely,same here

  • Mine turned out to be nothing. I went to several doctors because my tongue was also hurting. One Doctor called it burning mouth syndrome which is a term used when they have no idea. I actually discovered that it was caused by a medicine I was taking that made me unknowingly move my tongue rapidly in my mouth causing sore mouth issues. The medicine was for ADD. I hope this helps and i hope yours is this simple.
