Strange lump in roof of mouth

Hey everyone, this just happened, I've had a sore throat since Monday, no fever, just recovering, and just today I felt a small lump in the roof of my mouth. It gradually became more annoying, and is now driving me insane. I've tried checking it out in the mirror, it appears white, feels like the size of the tip of my pinkie finger.

Maybe I'm just making mountains out of molehills, but it really hurts.

Any ideas what this lump might be?

Thanks a lot :)
