  • Red spots on tongue are seen in cases where the body suffers from an acute shortage of vitamin B12. The best remedy for this is including vitamin rich foods such as citrus fruits in the daily diet.Try to keep your mouth, especially the tongue, neat and clean. Brush your teeth and clean the tongue with a tongue-cleaner at least twice a day. Rinse your mouth well with water after eating anything. You may use antacids like Maalox and Mylanta, and antihistamines such as benadryl instead of water, if you wish.
