ok.. Here is the story..
Last thursday night I had a little cold sore I believe in the left corner of my mouth.. and I also had a pimple alittle lower and popped it.. Now.. I woke up friday and there was like 4-5 cold sores or something on my lip well around my lip on left side.. I am on Famciclovir 250 mg twice a day. I went back to a walk in today and told them my dr said it was cold sores, but they are broke up like bleeding and some are still there and small with white head, it itches and hurts my gums, and teeth. I have more antibotics but haven't taken them yet..and some cream. The cream has some bactrum in it, and i'm allergic to bactrum. I'm very scared that this is Strep, the flesh eating virus.. the dr today took some swab sample, and will be read in 3 days. He said if it gets worse to go to ER, but Like I said i'm scared, and I'm thinking about going tomorrow morning. They are drying out now, and itch very badly.. my mouth is swollen right inside to the front where they are on the outside, and my glands are swollen too. I felt body aches, and alittle coldish..like getting sick, but starting to feel alittle better. I dont have a fever, and i'm eating what I can if it doesn't hurt. I mean I'm just concerned that the infection will turn into that flesh eating virus, or will go to other parts of my body. I really cannot stand taking 2 meds at once..so I only have 2 days left for the Famciclovir, and then I was going to start the antibiotic cephalexin 500 mg 3 times a day. I have never had this problem, and I never had anything that looked like this on my mouth before. I work with dogs almost everyday, and I know they sometimes get close to my face, andwhat not.. I work at the humane society here, and i know it may not be to clean. I do wash my hands, but maybe sometime I didn't and something happend. I dont know...I am just worried my gums and teeth hurt on that side, but dr said it was b/c the nerve was being bothered.
