Since I had an SI fusion a year ago my mouth has been doin a very strange thing. My tongue becomes painful and swells slightly. The taste buds turn a off whitish color and begin to peel off. My tongue is very sensitive ketchup feels like jalepenos even koolaid sodas burn my tongue. This happens on a very regular basis seeming as once a month. After it has completely peeled my tongue is very smooth looks like a new tongue and stays sensitive for about a week. I am not on any regular medications just recently started taking Ultram and celebrex. I have nit changed my diet or brushing habits. I use the same tooth paste and mouth wash I've used for years. I've been married for 15 years and have not strayed sexually. I honestly have no idea what this could be but I'm getting very frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
