my daughter is pregnant, about 2 months. about a month ago she noticed her right tonsil was swollen, no pain, just swollen. Then a few days ago she developed these bumps all the way around her tongue. She searched the internet and got freaked out because read that mouth problems are an early symptom of HIV infection. She did have unprotected sex twice with one partner about 5 years ago, before she met and married her now husband. Now she is totally freaked out about the possibility of having contract HIV from this person. I'm afraid her worrying is not good for the pregnancy. I've tried to convince her is could be a lot of things and the right swollen tonsil could be because she's having probems cutting her right wisdom tooth. But she is still freaking out and her first dr appt for her pregnancy is still a week away. He anyone else experienced any of the symptoms?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
