Do you have any information on mouth ulcers?

  • Some mouth ulcers are caused by what is known as Wet Mouth and you need to discuss this with a gum specialist referred by your dentist. Currently the treatment that is being used is a paste called Betamethasone that is rubbed on the affected areas at least three times a day until the affected areas are treated and once a day to keep it at bay. There is no cure at present and the paste is NOT on the PBS and is only obtained by a prescription.
