im a 17 year old boy and just recently diagnosed with mono. I've been having severe headaches, high fever, sore through for the past 2 weeks and went to the hospital and i was diagnosed for mononucleosis. im affraid after hearing the effects of it, and im curious after it's gone will i be able to kiss again? because i've heard the virus stays in you forever in your body from reading some articles, is this true?
does this mean im gonna deal with mono my whole life ? im confused when i grow up am i gonna face this problem again, and not be able to kiss my wife? im just affraid of passing this on to others, and this is a shock to be diagnosed for me with mono. how will i know when the virus is gone and im clean?
i've learned my lesson and hopefully i can make some changes.
