As I am going through the healing process I am updating everyone to try to help someone else so they do not have to go through this to long.
Yesterday the poison ivy or oak or what ever it was still looked pretty bad, I was up all night. I took benadryl as directed on the container and instead of the peroxide I used epsom salt(I filled bathroom sink with hot water and put a handfuls of salt into it). I used a wash cloth and kept the cloth hot (as hot as I could stand it), I did the several times during the night. Everytime I woke up from itching I got up and did the epsom salt again.. And then I let it dry and used a cortaid cream, put that on my neck and around the outside of my mouth and for my lips used medicated lip ointment. Today when I woke up it was 85% gone, so I did the same thing all day today and it is only half way through the day and it is 98% gone. I am sure by the time I go to bed tonight it will be 100% gone.
Good luck to you all, I hope I helped in some way
