Bump on the roof of my mouth

Hey everyone, this is my first thread here, although that shouldn't be of any interest to anyone...anyways, here's the deal...

I recently had a sore throat, 2 days ago, fever last Monday, am recovering right now, but just today the strangest thing happened, I felt a small lump in the roof of my mouth. It gradually became more irritating as it got later, now it's 10 in the evening, and it's driving me crazy. I've done my best to check it out (it's on the left side) and it looks kind of white.

Maybe I'm making mountains out of molehills, but this still kind of creeps me out.

Any ideas what this might be?

  • Are you congested at all? I get a bump on the roof of my mouth a few days before I get sick, or whenever my allergies start acting up, and I think it's mucus build-up or something. The ONLY thing that makes mine go away is taking an Allegra D, which completely drains you out and clears your sinus'. You could try taking a Decongestant such as Allegra or Zyrtec. Hope it goes away soon. I know it can be painful as well as annoying!!
