Since I Left Quarantine In Sigonella, Sicily I've Noticed That My Memory Has Gradually Declined. The VA Says It's Amnestic Something Or Other. Writing This Post Has Taken Thus Far 2 Hours. The Words Float Around In My Head As I Try To Place Them In The Correct Order As To Make An Intelligible Remark. Mostly I Fail. Stuttering And Speaking Repetitively And Entirely Too Fast Is The End Result Mostly. My Pride And Self Image Has Been Damaged To The Point Of Depression. The VA Has Tested, Diagnosed, Treated, And Medicated Me Out Of My Mind And Still They Deny Any Connection With My Previous Thoroughly Documented, Illness. They Say There Is No Connection Between Aseptic Meningitis And Memory Loss. My Wife And I Have Researched This Statement And We Find It To Be An Outright Lie! My Wife Burns Out Her Heart And Soul Trying To Find And Complete And Help And What All They Call For. Now I Drive 180 Miles To What I Have Found To Be A Pretty Decent VA Facility. They Have Done More In 2 Weeks Than In The 7 Years At The Previous Hospital In Shreveport Louisiana. My Wife Needs Help. My Condition Is Stressful And More Than Any One Person Should Be Made To Bare. Please Will Someone Help Her. Us. Me. I've Never Asked For Help Before So I Hope You Find Me Sincere. Thank You.

  • Have you searched the Internet for the information you need. If you don't find it there, go to a medical library at a medical school. Ask the librarian for the information you seek. Make a couple of copies of each document and then you will have your proof. Let me know if this works.
