To anyone who gets severe mood swings..
Try to find out the cause of the actual mood swings. Is it related to anything you already have? (check and see)
Do you know the cause?.. so many different issues can cause mood swings and those issues all have different treatments.
You need to work out if the mood swings are triggered ones? eg to events or just happen anytime. (this helps to distinigush what the underlaying issue is)
As yourself.. are you moody cause you may have something like depressionhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/mag-glass_10x10.gif? (thou major mood swings often have a different cause).
Are your major mood swings related to your hormones eg premenstral dysphoric disorder. (happens only in luteal phase of menstrational cycle.. eg from ovulation to early menstration... often right before period.. i tend to also get swings on ovulation)
Has bipolar been ruled out. (happens at any time but things may cycle)
Could you have something like borderline personality disorder? (mood swing occurs with triggering events in life)
Could you have a physical health issue causing mood swings? (eg endocrine disorders eg thyriod issues)
Coud you have another health issue which is causing the mood swings.. are your mood swings based on an inability to cope? eg depression or Asperger's
. (Im 39 yrs old and just found out i have Asperger's... this causes me to have "blow outs" and severe mood swing to things i just cant deal with).
