Hi, I'm looking for someone to respond who might know the problem i'm having or how to help with it. i believe i have paranoia and last night i had a panic episode. for some reason i believed my boyfriend had poisoned me. now keep in mind that he wouldnt do that, he's a great man and there is no reason for me to have thought that other than paranoia. i was eating mexican dip i had made and he looked at me and said "are you feeling sick at all?" instantly i had a panic attack. my heart was beating fast and i was short of breath. "no, why?" i asked fear stricken. he looked away and said "because i did something bad" the panic increased and i couldnt get ahold of myself "omg, baby, what? what did you do, what?" he looked at me in a confused way and said "dont worry, i said it's nothing bad.." it was then that i realized that he had not said the words that i had clearly heard come from his mouth. "because i did something bad" had actually been "it's nothing bad." so basically i need help figuring out first why i thought he had poisoned me and secondly why i had thought so completely and actually heard him say something he had not said. please help!
