up to about two years ago my oldest son who is 20 now was fine. at the same time i started noticing changing like talking about aliens, and government conspiracies. Then I noticed some drug abuse for awhile and i figure something is wrong because most people who use drugs are self medicating. At the time i was working two jobs and only home a few hours a day, but when i stopped working 18 months ago i have really noticed a lot of unusual behavior. he has remained to keep his hygiene up almost obsessively. When i was working i was living with a friend and they were telling me things that i just could not believe, for example urinating on the front lawn. so when i stopped working i moved back to my moms and now it is really bad. He stopped with the drugs about two years ago and started taking all these vitamins. he actually thinks he can live on bread and water and vitamins. He reads ever ingredient in everything and things the government is keeping us unhealthy buy allowing these companies to put whatever they want in the foods. I took him too the doctors and begged him to do something but he says my son has to do it cause he is an adult. I finally found a psychologist that allowed me to make an appointment for him. he would not let the doctor take blood because he is afraid of getting aid. he wears a kevlar military helmet around because there is a chance that he may get shot. now he wants me to buy him a military bullet proof vest. he keeps calling the police, DOD, NASA, to tell them that the universe is coming to an end. I had to take the phones away from him. i am wondering if this could have been brought on my his nutritional habits. there is so mental health issues in our family but the most is bipolar and manic depression and that is mainly in the woman on my side of the family nothing in the men. I am so afraid for him and i am totally lost. does anyone have any ideas. please. thanks
