i agree i don't understand my case yet as im affected since 6 years..
i have some thing like spasms in facial muscles or irritation and discomfort with lake in the coordination and control .its a kind of rigidity in moving face muscles so that expressions appear like sleepy or sick...
other symptoms include: decrease or inhibition to the rapid eye movement and depression in the breathing mode leads to general feeling of depression and disconfort.
i think this case is hereditary because my mother have the same problem long time ago..
this rigidity comes in 90% of time and goes in 10% of time...
it comes with subconscious concentration or thinking or feeling with the facial muscles ...and it goes when i concentrate strongly in some thing other than the face muscles ... but i can hardly control this concentration as i said its some kind of subcoscious concentration...
i hope any doctor can help me in diagnosing this

  • I have a similar case that has never been addressed....i'm conciously and obsessively controlling contraction and relaxation of my facial muscles and tightness in my ears...also in the body...i meditate into the tightness during the majority of my waking hours...this feels like an uphill battle that will never have an answer or solution to my problem or question...i also have a mild case of marfan syndrome which is the core of my obsessive behavior in this way. I often wonder if anyone else is concious of themselves behaving this way. I even challenge myself by creating new problems in my life in hopes to change the tightness in my body in hopes to find a new angle of tackling my problem or question. I also often wonder if this is a problem/question is just the process of dying or aging. I would appreciate any ideas or experiences on this subject.
