Hello !

My name in Marius Manta, I live in Bacau, Romania and I am writing to you considering my wife's single problem: i' ll call it "hospital phobia".
So, it is her problem: every time when she goes into a hospital or sees a doctor, we have a nightmare because she fell on the floor (chiars, etc). So, she is 23 years old and we discuss a lot about her problem. She assumes that has a problem but unfotunately we cannot put an end to such a terrifying experience. Later in life, she will need medical advice and care. What shall I do ? What about a child ? Even if she struggles up with this idea, in the moment she enters a medical institution, she loose the counscience.
The best part in this situation is that here, in Romania, we have not a psychoterapy department although they have tried to come up with some persons but they didn't succeed to continue.
Some facts about her life: the phenomena is that she is a last-year veterinary student graduating in Iasi, one of the most important universities in our country. When she works on animals, there is no problem but when the situation is linked to her or everyone else, we had a problem. She had an accident at ten years old when she stayed in hospital for ten days. We presume that this could be one important part in the problem but we don't know how to manage. The most impressive thing is that she has the capacity of virtual experiecing herself the other's problems. Being more exact, Let's say that I come up and story her something horrible that I saw on tv. When the discussion comes at hospital or doctors or specific intruments, the problem appears. The physically tests are ok excepting calcium that has a totally abnormal value (5 of the minimum of 8,2). We also realized that at semnificant changes of weather, she had terrible headaches with a vague blur in eyes for some moments. But the most important part in her life was the trauma provocated by her father's unexpected death. There were some doctors that at that time said they were concerning of her mental future.
I am saying once more that this is her problem and probably it is linked with more events in her life.
What are the steps that I have to consider for her problem ? Please help !
