I'm currently getting weaned off Effexor XR. I'm aware of the withdrawal effects and the fact that my depression might get worse from weaning off meds. I've complained to my doc about head pain for about a year and she tells me it's just a headache, another symptom of depression. But it doesn't feel like any regular headache I've ever had and lately it has gotten worse.
I feel as if someone took a bat and hit my head in different areas about a dozen times. Ugh, painful, right? But don't worry, if my head is left alone, I'm okay. It only hurts if I touch a "hit" spot. Said spot is very sensitive and even a light pressure to it causes severe pain.
So, does that sound like a headache to anyone else? Has anyone experienced this? Don't headaches persist whether or not you touch your head? Help? :)
