Anxiety + Loss of Appetite???

For the past few weeks, esp the last 2 days, i have had like little or no appetite....its getting me scared....what should i do?????????

the last 2 days have been cause my boyfriend has stomach flu and im scared to catch it....the last week or so has just been my usual hypochindria and worry/anxiety just affecting me differently

  • Appetite loss? That is only one freakin' symptom, that doesn't qualify you for any mental disorder at all. If it scares you then gradually eat a little more each day until you're conditioned to a normal level of eating.

  • Having a loss of appetitie can be both a symptom of depression/anxiety or could just be because of stress. Also, you mentioned you had a bf, so I'm assuming you are female ( correct me, if im wrong). But, when a woman goes through PMS, she can sometimes lose her appetite. Try eating smaller meals and see if that helps. Don't load up on carbs, and eat lots of protein (peanut butter/celery is a good combo). Dont fret.
