Hello to all, Im new as of yesterday & would appreciate any & all reply's.
I would Love to know If any of you out there suffer from this same disorder, & if so PLEASE tell me what has helped you the best, from medication to anything else. I feel I live in a living ***l 24/7 and would Love to have someone to talk to & become friend's. This crap I have keep's me so isolated & I just need someone who I can vent to so I won't feel so alone. Im 51 now & am a grandmother....but It's so hard to be the kind of grandma I would Love to be, because my world Is so small. I try & make my self get out...but it drains me of what little energy I do have. I would appreciate anyone who needs a friend to talk with.
Please Reply, Thank's & God Bless! :-) MagnoliaAngel

  • I suffered from agoraphobia & panic attacks for many years. After many years of self-imposed exile, I went to the Dr and he put me on Celexa.I was on Paxil prior to this and it did nothing for the overwhelming symptoms; just added more symptoms. The best thing I can suggest is to find a Dr you trust, sometimes with medications its trial and error because what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another. I was lucky to find a medication that works. I still have problems with crowds and situations but its manageable now. I work full time and can go grocery shopping etc...I still get panic ( sweats) but its not as bad as it used to be.If u need a friend..someone to rant to...email me @ semi_alert@hotmail.com or add me to msn messenger even. Good luck Hon. As EvErCat:)
