I went all the way to the Mayo Clinic with no resolution. The symptoms are I get very dizzy 24/7, very fatigued for five or six months that's triggered evidently when it gets very hot (100 degrees) for an extended period.
Once the symptoms hit (fatigue, dizziness) it takes four or five months for the symptoms to lessen. The first three years 2003, 2004 and 2005 this happened repeatedly. They found out I have pernicious anemia, Hashimoto's and one MRI showed some swelling on the brain stem. I get pimples on my head under my hair (I'm male) and often have night sweats with a hot body with no temperature.
I rarely went to doctors but saw a dozen over a three-year period. It wasn't as hot the past three years 2007, 2008 and 2009) so the severe conditions never kicked in those three years.
But this year, back in July, it got up to 100 again for a month, the symptoms kicked in the first week and are still there four months later. I once again have seen a couple of doctors but no answers.
I'm very frustrated a doctor hasn't been able to connect the dots and figure out why extreme heat brings on these symptoms.
For seven straight in the late 1990s I was in extreme heat (100 to 104) the entire month of July. One theory is I might have literally fried my brain those years and then years later some sort of heat stroke type of condition is triggered when it gets extremely hot. No doctor has come up with an answer, including the Mayo Clinic.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
