when i was 11 i started having pain in my knee. i went to the doctors and he just said it was growing pains. then i kept having problems with my walkin but everytime i went to the hospital they just put me on crutches and said that i will be ok in a couple of weeks. 2 days later i couldnt walk and was in so much pain. after 30 odd x-rays and seeing 5 doctors they discovered my epiphysis had slipped. they admitted me and had the operation 2 days later. i was unable to walk for 3 month by that time i was ready to have my other hip pinned. so i was unable to put weight on either of my legs. so i had to have intensive therepy on my hips to allow me to walk again. it took a while to get me steady on my feet and now 6 years later im still in pain. i wanted to publish this story because i want to hear from anyone else who has experienced this or are going through the same symptoms. if you would like to get intouch with me my email is email@example.comReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
