I stumbled on this website looking for answers to my husbands reduced orgasmic response but was shocked to see all my gastric/adrenal fatigue symptoms in the list. I have been working on getting well treating myself for adrenal fatigue with B5&B6, pregnenalone, selenium and some others. But now after spending time here I'm wondering if I should try this route.
I have already been supplemeting B12, but the cyano kind (2500 mg daily) which I assume will skew the tests you mention.
One of my problems researching these things is transferrence. First I feel really scared about embarking on another journey of healing and ending up worse than I began. THis happened with the raw food path I was on for 3 years. I felt awful after the initial phase but was told I was having detox. Not so, the diet made me sick and I think I now know why. But also as I research I sometimes have stirrings of the symptoms I read about. I would make a terrible med student.
My concern with trying this B12 is; Dr. cooperation; worsening symptoms like some of the folks I see on this thread; loss of tooth enamel since my teeth are already on shaky ground and so are my hubbies.
Does the oral supplementation work for many people? How do I begin if we have already been taking the higher dose cyanocobalamin which sounds like it will falsify any blood tests.
