So Long story short my mother had Hodgkins Disease when she was 22. I have done extensive research on the disease and I am not sure if it is hereditary or not. Here are my symptoms: severe pruritis worse after consuming alcohol, I had over a year of abnormal WBC counts (high) which normalized after my daughter was born a year ago. I had a Hem/onc consult but they didn't bring up Hodgkins even though my mom had it. They tested me for some other gene mutations for other leukemias ect. All neg. I have severe sweating which I thought was maybe from the birth of my child and hormones but she is now a year old. Most recently I have these strange "bone" aches like growing pains that come on suddenly and then disapear as quick as they came an hour or two later. I have always been tired and I had epstein barr at 15 (which I have heard can be linked). I do have Sleep apnea which is treated and endometreiosis so it is hard for me to say if I am more tired or not. No fevers or anything, and no lymph nodes swollen that I can tell, and no weight loss recently. Mostly the itching drives me crazy I have to take an antihistamine to function normally. Is there any one who knows of a Hereditary link or has had it after a parent or sibling?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
