Hi, my name is Melissa and im 39yrs old 12 yrs ago I woke up and had some of the worse pain I have ever felt in my life, I had to urinate so bad and it hurt so bad it felt like glass or fire was coming out instead of urine. So I went to the doctor and I had a very bad bladder infection so they gave me some antibiotics and I took them all till gone like they say, well the burning did not go away it came write back and I went back to the doctor and this time I was peing blood so they gave me a shot and sent me home. my symptoms still stayed with me after I finishe the medsbut in this time I found out that the more water I drink the better my poor urethra felt, so I started drinking more and more water. Finally I ended up going to a urolagist and they dialated my urethra and said that I had alot of water in my bladder so I explained to him that If I dont keep water in my bladder I would be in alot of pain, and I went on to tell him that if i drink a couple glasses of water and wait a while until I can feel the water trinkle down to my urethra that , thats what seemed to put like presure on it or something? and it made it feel normal when I would pee, but i had to keep a steady streem of water flowing through my bladder. And the funny thing was he did not understand what I was explaining to him. How else can I say it? Anyway for a while after that each time I would go to the doctor for the symptoms thet would find a trace of blood in my urine and they would give me more antibiotics wich would not work. I have ben to 3 different urolagist and they never know what to tell me. so I stoped going for acouple of yrs unless I forgot to drink eneough water and the burning came back i would go to the emergency room and they told my every time there is no infection, but now its getting worse now my sides hurt all the time and it feels sore with the burn like its worn out or something. and for the last year now I cant even have sex with my husband because if i have a orgasm a couple days later my sides hurt when i pee ,So now I have appt with a knew doctor in a couple of months , so we will see what happens. Please if anyone els has this problem I would love to here frome you (excuse the spelling):(Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
