I had to go see a doctor about hematuria.Stress galore! Anyway when the assistant took my blood pressure, whooooop!,it was 189 over 98!I purchased a blood pressure monitor at a drug store and started to take it at home. Thank goodness that my blood pressure is really only about 125 over 70. Needless to say my doctor put me on meds for anxiety and told me to go to a urologist. My unknown condition also causes really nasty itching spells.Sometimes my skin will start to burn or itch when I void. Really the message that I trying to get across is to know your own blood pressure outside of the doctor,s office so you won,t be be put on blood pressure meds for false hypertension. I would like to hear other peoples stories about getting blood pressure taken at the doctor,s offie.
