I have been in pain the last 5 years and it has gotten progessively worst, the pain went from my bones in my lower back and it has tracked all the way down to my hip region. I have had a mri and nothing has showed up. I had a bone marrow and bone biopsis done and the bone showed a extremely Thickened trabeculae and they were not able to get enough bone marrow but said the little they got had no cancer cells. I just want to be so I am not in that much pain. I am tired all the time. I must also not that my blood work is coming back normal, I had one ana titer of 1/320 but after the one positive i have gotten others done that have come out negative. what is wrong with me?

  • could this be pain from a shingles virus; I'm not sure what type of pain you are having...does it ache, burn, in the bones? or the nerves? You can get a varicella zoster antibody test to rule that out.

  • Hi, it is a constant pain in the bone and there is boney tenderness from my spinal column to the hip region, it has tracked to that region. I am told it is not cancer. I am tired all the time. it seems to be steroid responsive. I am usually in a 10 pain but when I take steroids it goes down to 1-2. The doctors so far have not given me an answer. I have test for SLE and all the tests have come back negative. kay
