For 8 years now I have suffered from intermitant swelling just above the top rib (under my bust) on the left hand side of my body. It can swell, at times, right down to the lower ribs.
At first I was sent to a pysio who thought it was muscle swelling, I had exercises to do and also had ultra scan treatment. None of this helped and I was sent for an xray and more ultra sound scans, again nothing showed up.
It is very painful and swells quite alot, ab exercises seem to bring it on but even without exercise I still swell.
The doctors have no idea what it is and have not been to helpful and have given up really.
Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?
