What is causing this foot pain?

So a few days ago I started getting this bad pain in my left foot. It's on the left side of my left foot where the foot curves out. The pain comes from the side and bottom of the foot whenever I press on it and especially when I pick my foot up after taking a step. There's no brusing or swelling and I didn't hit it on anything so I have no idea how the pain could have started. I did a fall sport but that's been over since November and I haven't had time to work out lately. My other foot is perfectly fine but I cant walk on my left foot without it hurting and the pain seems to be getting worse, especially if I need to jog somewhere. I've been trying to roll the spot of pain on a ball and that hurts really badly too. Should I just keep that up or will this not help, do I need to figure out something else to heal it? This has never happened before so please let me know what you think!
