My 40 yr. son has just diagnosed himself and by his reg. Dr. with Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome. His has developed due to years of drinking alcohol. He has some shrinkage of his cerebellum and knows it is a Thiamine (B1) insufficiency. We are looking for others who may know of this condition and Drs. that can properly treat it. He is 7mths sober and wants to treat this before it progresses to the less treatable-untreatable Korsakoff. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
