2 years ago my weight was 9 stone 3 pounds, this is for aman 6 foot 1 inches in height, 71 years of age my ferreting blood count at thattime was 730, I was referred to the hospital, had tests and scans, the onlythings they found was gallstones, which they did not want to interfere withbecause they said they were causing no problems, they also said I had signs of osteoporosisin my spine, and wear and tear in my pancreas and ileum, which were almost agerelated.
I was referred to a dietician who put me on a high dairydiet, I cannot eat normal foods, because asthma inhalers (when I had not gotasthma) ruined my soft palate, meaning everything I eat has to be mashed up,otherwise I end up with a mouth full of blood blisters, I have an hiatushernia, again I cannot have anything citrus if I do I end up doubled up withchest pains, I also have stomach ache on a daily basis, which I have had for 12years all the tests I have had have never been able to detect the cause, so ithas be labelled IBS which I do not have the symptoms of, I don’t haveconstipation or diarrhoea.
My weight went up to 11 stone on this diet, and my ferretingcame down to 300, but since last April my weight has gone down to 10 stone 4pounds, and my haemoglobin also has gone from 13.8 to 12.4 which my doctorcannot understand.
I don’t drink alcohol, or any caffeinated I don’t smoke, Igo for a walk in the local nature reserve early morning 6.30am every day rainor shine between 8 mile to 5 miles, on a very nice day which we have not hadmany I do the 8 mile route, but mostly this year I have been doing the 5 mileroute.
Does anyone else have similar problem s?
