  • I think the prescribed medicine is quite sufficient, but what I feel,is that it would be better for you to try and get more for vitamin D from the natural sources such as try and eat foods which are rich in vitamin D or try and soak in, as much morning sun rays as possible. The foods rich in vitamin D are mushrooms, fortified cereals, soy products, dairy products, and if you are a non-vegetarian,then you have a number of other options like fish, oysters, caviar, salami, ham, eggs, and cod liver oil.

  • Want to prevent deficiency of vitamin D? Expose your body to sunlight. Eat lots of vitamin enriched food like fish egg and cod liver oil. You can also find calcium pills formulated with vitamin D, so you can buy calcium+vitamin D at a time for your bones.
