My husband has been experiencing chronic headaches every day for the past 7 months. Some days are less painful than others but they are always there. The pain begins above and behind his eyes and travels to the nape of his neck. He describes it as "pressure" and as though his head is "being squeezed." His vision is sometimes starry and dotty.
He has had a CT scan and the results were normal. He has seen 3 different doctors and they all tell him that his constant headaches are 'normal.' He was prescribed 20mg of Endep and has been taking Panadine Forte. The pain was so great one night that I drove him to the hospital only to wait 5.5 hrs to have him put on a drip and oxygen. The doctors result was that he had cluster headaches.
Over the past 2-3 weeks he has been experiencing nausea, diarrhea and then constipation and occationally very bad abdominal pain. His sleeping patterns have changed because he is contantly tossing and turning. His dreams have been very vivid and at times difficult to wake him from his slumber.
