My daughter is a quadriplegic , 27 years old. She has had 5 operations on her hip, an unsuccessful hip replacement that had to be removed and now she sits in her wheelchair in constant pain. Her leg is all swollen (we found out her leg had factured). Her doctor said he cannot put her leg in plaster and it will set by itself. He also said she must wait 2 years before he can do another hip replacement. She lives in South Africa in Durban and I live in America. I need to find a specialist either in South Africa or America that can help her. We need a doctor that has performed a hip replacement on a quadriplegic person, someone that knows that he is doing. Can anyone help ?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
