hi, all my life (sice puberty) i have had uneven breasts. people used to tell me it was natrual to have slighly ueven breasts and i have always been to shy to talk about it with anyone other than my partner as i got older the diffrence got worse and relised that the left size has not grown at all since puberty. i had a baby 9 months ago and found out during my pregnacy that i was diganosed with a rare genetic condition called incontinentia pigmenti at birth. nobody had bothered to tell me about this before. one of the side affects apparetly is eneven breasts. i tryed breastfeeding hoping that this might help encorage my left breast to grow it has made it alot worse. my left breast is aa/a and my right brest is an e! i am so depressed. i feel restricted in everything i wear and am pariniod that people can tell. i wear padding to try and even it out, i cant take this for much longer! i cant afford breast impants myself and have not looked into nhs ones. can someone help me! i just want to be normal!! jo

  • First of all, have you read about this INCONTINENTIA PIGMENTI? Do you have any of those other symptoms? I think you have been diagnosed. I know a couple of other people with the same problem. One has been diagnosed , unfortunately the person I know that knows the name of it , I can't reach. I feel for your dilemma. I wish I could help you more, I 'm trying to get more info myself for someone very close. Well good luck. They do sell artificial breasts like for people who have had their breasts removed (cancer patients) you might want to check into one of those until you can have surgery. There are plastic surgery places that finance you, to repair and if you can get a diagnosis it may even be covered by insurance. Just some ideas for the future.
