Underarm Pain

I have been experiencing pain at my armpit, not at all times, but it does occur once in a while in a day. Especially when i sweat. It has been going on for quite sometime but it had never occured to me that it could be a symptom of something. Until yesterday i decided to google it and I found out that there are a lot of causes. But 3 things caught my interest and brought me to concern.

1: the use of anti-perspirant 2: shaving the armpit 3: breasts cancer

And few points i have to say...

1: I have stopped the usage of anti-perspirant for over 6 months
2: If im not mistaken, there was a time once where i shaved my armpit and cut myself a little.
3: of course, cancer is every one's fear.
4: There is a small lump at my armpit, a very small one which requires you to pay full attention if you are touching it and trying to search for it.

I went to see the health officer (the doctor wasnt in) immediately after reading the article. I told him my prob and he ended up everything by giving me a pain killer.

I am very concern and worried about my health because the profession that im in now requires my to be 100% fit and also because i love my life. I would not want to lose either one. If there is any medical advisors or doctors out there that can give me a good explaination or advice i will be very thankful.

Very Worried.
